Open mornings at Swanbourne House provide a valuable opportunity to come and see our school in action. We are very proud of our school and hope that, as you walk round, view our facilities and meet the staff and pupils, you will get a feel for the purposeful, happy environment in which our children work and play.

What happens at an Open Morning?
You are welcome to arrive any time between 10am and 11:00am. Some parents prefer to come alone; others are accompanied by children or grandparents – all are welcome!
On arrival, please drive up to the front of the school where you will be met at the main school entrance by one of our pupils. You will be taken on a tour of the school by one or two of our pupils. Please do let them know if there is anywhere in particular you would like to see and do ask as many questions as you like – our pupils are very honest and open and will be able to answer from a child’s perspective. There will then be a chance to meet the Headmaster and his wife, as well as other staff, including someone from the finance department and the boarding house, who will be able to answer any further questions you may have.
If you want to see the whole school and talk to our staff, we recommend that you allow about 1½ hours for your visit. However, we recognise that parents don’t always have that much time; just let us know if you have a schedule to stick to and we will adjust your tour accordingly.
Book a place on the Open Morning
If you would like to register your interest and receive an invitation for any of the above dates, you can register online here and the school will contact you shortly. Alternatively, please email email@example.com or telephone 01296 720264 and speak to our Registrar, Mrs G Pratten who will be pleased to make an appointment for you. If you would like to visit the school before the next Open Morning you can book a visit here.
Nursery Stay and Play Sessions
We hold Stay and Play sessions throughout the year for parents who are thinking about enrolling their child in the Nursery. These sessions give you and your child the chance to familiarise yourselves with the Nursery and to meet your child’s future friends and teachers. Your child will join in with other children in the Nursery, be that playing outside in the courtyard, watching the rabbits, drawing or dressing up, the choice is theirs. Friends and grandparents are most welcome to come along too. The Registrar, Mrs Pratten, will be available to chat to should you have any further questions and will be more than happy to give you a tour of the Prep school afterwards if you would like.
Details of our next Stay and Play for prospective parents will be on Thursday 30th November. Current parents are welcome to attend a Stay and Play on Thursday 28th September.
If you would like to attend, please fill out the following registration form or telephone Mrs Pratten on 01293 720264. We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones.
