Deciding on the right school for your child is very important, and we believe that a personal visit is invaluable. We hope that you and your child/children will visit us to experience the warm and purposeful atmosphere that gives Swanbourne House its special glow.

We hold a number of Open Days, one per term, giving a general introduction to the school. Details are published on this website. We welcome prospective parents and their children at any time. Swanbourne House School is a non-selective school at entry into the Nursery and Pre-Prep. Our selection process in the Prep School is similarly non-selective but designed to identify pupils who are able to benefit from our balanced and well-rounded education and to make a positive contribution towards the life of the school. Pupils undergo familiarisation and assessment.

We accept children into the Nursery in the term in which they reach their third birthday. Children can join the school in any group in which there is a vacancy. The vast majority of Pre-Prep pupils transfer to the Prep School at the age of seven and many pupils join us in the Prep School at the ages of eight and nine years. 

Prospective pupils may be registered for admission at any time after birth. This includes parents registering where other brothers or sisters are already in the School. To register your child, please complete the Registration Card included in the Prospectus and return it with the Registration fee of £75.00 to the Registrar, Mrs C Hollowday.
