Swanbourne House is a Co-ed Prep School found in a wonderful countryside setting of 55 acres of parkland and woodland.

Our pupils are free to build camps, and explore the many quirks and curiosities across the site.

Co-ed Prep School, Swanbourne House, BuckinghamshireWe have the squirrel-carved fallen tree, the sunken lawn, the amphitheatre, the Outdoor Learning Classroom and team building stations. There’s also the epic ‘Battle Ground’ where we re-enact historical battles.

Wildlife that can be seen on the grounds on a daily basis includes red kites, deer, woodpeckers, pheasants and herons (as well as the local cow herd from the nearby farm!).

We see children thriving in the outdoors with the freedom our grounds provide. Being in the woods, making dens, learning bushcraft, sleeping under the stars and enjoying food cooked on the fire are the things great memories are made of.  It also develops team working skills, problem solving, grit, determination and resilience.

The food is pretty special too and we use home grown produce from the grounds and surrounding area.

Health and wellness are a significant priority at Swanbourne and our extensive grounds and facilities are core ingredients.
