Owzat! Virtual Cricket Classes Delivered by Swanbourne House

During the temporary school closure due to Covid-19, the Sports Department at Swanbourne House have created a series of films to help pupils continue to develop their game skills from home.

These films are part of a cricket course designed for all abilities – from novice to county standard. The course uses different balls and a cricket bat (or tennis racket), as well as items found around the house, such as chairs, newspapers and bottles.

The film below shows a snapshot of some of the drills in Session One.

The course includes demonstrations, guides and challenges to help improve batting, bowling and fielding.

Swanbourne House School is an independent day and boarding school in Buckinghamshire, near Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. The school has first rate sporting facilities including cricket pitches and a pavilion.
