The life of Swanbourne House is set within the context of a broad Christian ethos. Families of all faiths, and none, make up our school community, within which we enjoy exploring each other’s ideas and beliefs.
The school community gathers in our own Chapel and in St Swithun’s, the local parish church. The boarders join the local community on occasions, while the school leads the main services throughout the calendar year at St Swithun’s. We hold services at the start and end of each term inviting visiting speakers including Heads, Housemasters/Housemistresses and Chaplains from partner schools and local clergy.
Enthusiastic congregational singing and time for quiet reflection are at the heart of school life.
