A busy week for the Senior Choir

Thank you and well done to our Senior Choir on their stellar performances and unwavering commitment to music over the festive period.

The Senior Choir have had an exceptionally busy time with performances in the Advent Carol Service, the Christmas Concert (singing a jazz version of Away in a Manger by Peter Hunt and Jingle Bells) and the stunning ‘Carols by Candlelight’ concert in St Guthlac’s, Passenham, where they performed a full programme alongside the Senior Vocal Group and a number of soloists. Members of the Senior Choir from the 11s and TY were filmed singing ‘We Three  Kings’ around a twinkling tree for the school Christmas card on Tuesday, followed by carols for the public in Winslow on a sunny  Winter morning.

With the Service of Lessons and Carols in St. Swithun’s bringing the term to a close on Friday evening, it has been a wonderful season of music. Thank you, one and all, for some outstanding musical performances.
