Jake Meyer Visits Swanbourne

Jake Meyer visits Swanbourne Pupils for the Inaugural lecture of the Spearhead Programme.

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome mountaineer and adventurer Jake Meyer to Swanbourne for the inaugural lecture of our new Spearhead programme. Jake achieved fame by becoming the youngest Briton to climb Mount Everest in 2005 in doing so becoming the youngest man in the world to complete the SevenSummits Challenge. More recently in 2018 he summited K2, the second highest mountain in the world and has taken part in over 30 expeditions around the world. Jake gave an inspiring talk to SHS pupils on “making the impossible, possible”
