Learning to weave at art club

Learning to weave a basket

In this lunchtime art club, pupils got hands-on with a focused introduction to the art of basket weaving.

The activity is designed for beginners, and the pupils learnt the basics of the craft, practicing fine motor skills and the tricky technique of adjusting tension to create an upright basket.

Patience, precision and perseverance were the stars of the session—plus a whole lot of creativity!
