Ferny Crofts Scout Camp

Last week Year 4 travelled down to ferny crofts Scout Camp for a 3 day residential. Check out the gallery below to see what they got up to!!

• Big smiles as we arrive!

• The children were sure to throw themselves into their first activity of the afternoon. (Quite literally!)

• Have you ever seen a chess board this big?

• Teambuilding activities that were not as easy as they look

• What better place to play Sniper Sniper, than in the woods?!

• We had a little visitor who flew by to take part in our game of Sniper Sniper

• Every morning we had mr heaven write some advice/question/qoute for the day

• Smiles all around as we get ready for breakfast

• One of the activities of the trip was a climbing wall

• Took a lot of effort from the whole team to help their fellow classmates climb the wall

• some would say the best part was on the way down

• Lots of encouragment from fellow teammates

• A nice warm hot chocolate from the kettle

• Marshmallows and bread on a stick

• All gone!

• A test to see if the students can create a shelter in the wilderness with limited materials

• A picture trail around the scout camp was a good test of our orienteering knowledge

• In the evening we had a cup stacking tournament!

• The teams went head to head to see who could stack cups the fastest

• Another morning another board!

• breakfast for the last time

• The last and final game of Sniper Sniper in the woods.

• an intense game of dodgeballs with staff vs students

• a hunt to find ammunition

• Matching the colours in the briefcase

• And to mark the end the ferny crofts box was blown up!
